WILLIAM SCHALLERT

If you've never seen this longtime character actor's face or heard his voice, you must live on Pluto!   Perhaps best remembered as Patty Duke's wise TV dad in the '60s (and in a reunion movie in the '90s), he began his career in B-movies in the '40s, typecast most often as a scientist, and continued in film and TV into ripe old age, most often voicing commercials. Now in his 90's, he's still with us. I directed him once in a radio commercial and liked him immensely.
